I fell in love with these square glass beads after graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2010. Each bead I sew one at a time, a fiber process known as bead-weaving. It is very similar to knit or crochet. I experiment with styles, patterns, and fun color combinations, which put a modern twist on a traditional fiber process. Beading is therapeutic for me because I love how the square beads stack, the tactile feel of how the glass is cool to the touch, and how it reflects light. I make various styles in one color combination, switch up the beads, and rarely return to the same design. This makes all my jewelry pieces limited edition. I love sourcing unique materials and fun charms. I hope you love this artisan-created piece of jewelry!

For Kansas City Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024, I showcased a collection of grand, statement-making beaded capelets that embodied both patience and precision. Each piece was crafted entirely by hand with square glass beads, taking over 40 hours each to complete.
These XL runway designs were paired with sleek black dresses and tailored jumpers, allowing the intricate beadwork to take center stage under the lights. The result was a dramatic fusion of texture, reflection, and movement—each shimmering bead catching the audience’s eye with every step.
This collection represented my love for meticulous craftsmanship and artful storytelling through jewelry, turning wearable accessories into unforgettable works of art.
